Mid 1930s black straw hat with an asymmetrical brim that is turned up on one side. The dome has been folded down on each side, creating a widened space down the centre. The dome is trimmed in grosgrain ribbon. The original hat pin is still pinned in place.

CONDITION: Good condition overall. The grosgrain ribbon has come unstitched from the dome, and has some discolouration. Some faint marks and dust build up on the front of the dome and around the edge where the brim meets the dome.
