The first vessel of the Stone Portal fleet encountered, and the largest pure combat vessel, the Dreadnought is slow and cumbersome. It lacks much in the way of anti-fighter protection, and relies on escort vessels to defend it. However, this means it mounts a prestigious amount of weaponry, armour and shields. The bulk of the firepower comes from a huge complement of Phasic Lances, which can deal out a phenomenal amount of damage. They are supplemented by the almost superfluous ventral torpedo turret.
