In Carli soft ride multi-rate springs each coil is spaced differently making them a variable spring rate. Initially it is easy to compress these springs for the first couple of inches. As you apply more force, the coils come closer to each other. The more force you apply to our multi-rate spring the more the rate increases. So, these springs are compliant to very small bumps on the road, while achieving control when needed off road, hard braking, and turning. These springs allow you to achieve the highest performance while driving hard and providing a smooth, comfortable drive the rest of the time while still providing your factory payload capabilities.

Optimized for those with a constant load, these “HD” rear springs accommodate contractors and overlanders alike. These springs will operate exactly as our standard multi-rate springs when laden with 500lb. constant bed-load. Detrimental to the performance and stance of our standard multi-rate coils, Racks & Rooftop tents, Camper shells and bedslides, contractor tool boxes, etc. are no longer and issue with our HD rear springs!

To be clear, these are NOT coils for guys who occasionally tow or sometimes throw a thousand pounds in the bed as they DO have a higher spring rate to accommodate load. This will cause a higher rear stance and stiffer ride when unloaded – it’s precisely why we only recommend these springs for trucks with a constant bed load.

FIT NOTES: BOTH of these coils require a rear track bar drop, sway bar end links and longer rear shocks. They are NOT a drop in stock replacement as they offer substantially more travel, and are meant to be used with a complete Carli Suspension System.
