Brand® Transferpettor, positive displacement pipettor systems provide reliable, consistent pipetting during long series of repeat operations. With a positive displacement pipette the piston draws in the liquid directly, and displaces it directly. Consequently the piston and the sample are in direct contact – there is no air interface. The piston wipes the walls of the capillaries and tips thoroughly clean.

The minimal liquid remaining is normally negligible as regards the result. If, however, no carry-over is permitted, we recommend you to use air displacement pipettors with disposable tips. Equally suited for liquids of any density, vapour pressure, or viscosity. There is no need to replace the piston when capillaries or tips are replaced.
