The NorTrac Towable Backhoe Trencher gives landowners, ranches, municipalities, and small crews a portable digging tool for work where a full-size excavator is more machine than the job requires. It tows with a 2 in. ball hitch behind a truck, tractor, ATV, or UTV, then sets up on site for trenching and light backhoe-style digging.

Power comes from a 15 HP Ducar 420cc gas engine with recoil and electric start. The included 12 in. wide, 3-tooth digging bucket is built for utility trenching, tree planting, stump removal, and moving rocks or dirt around the property.

With an 80 in. maximum digging depth, 8 ft. maximum reach, 60-degree left/right boom rotation, and 340 lb lift capacity, this towable backhoe trencher is a practical option for repeat digging work without tying up a skid steer or tractor attachment slot.

Assembly and fluids: Some assembly is required. HM46 hydraulic fluid and 5W-30 engine oil are required and are not included.
