Flex it daily and the inner liner work-hardens over 18 to 24 months, leading to micro-cracks that drop output pressure and force the generator to cycle more often (shortening compressor life). If you're seeing your generator cycle more frequently than it used to, swap this hose before assuming the generator itself is failing. Always depressurize the system fully and check the new hose's connections under pressure with a leak-detection solution; an undetected HP leak burns through compressor hours fast.
