Studio Nucleo signs Primitivo, the iconic design armchair with armrests for the Qeeboo brand. The Primitive armchair plays on shapes and in particular on the asymmetries of volumes. It has a rather unique structure, padded and covered Bouclé cloth. Primitive evokes the paradox between its name, which refers to rough, primordial geometric forms to typical movements of the twentieth century: cubism, abstractionism and constructivism among others. As a bridge between shapes and concepts, Primitive is excellent for indoor environments with a strong modern and minimal connotation but also for those who want to dare with a particular and original piece.

Studio Nucleo is a collective of artists and designers based in Turin (Italy) since 1997. Led by Piergiorgio Robino, designer and functional artist, their practice is well known for its experimental approach to material research at the intersection between art, architecture, furniture and design. Exploring ancient artisanal techniques and materials. They handcraft their pieces, modulating them through contemporary technologies.
