On a sheer cream base that reads almost like unglazed porcelain, hand-painted butterflies in coral, sky blue, purple, mint, and warm gold are arranged across each nail with the considered composition of a ceramic painter working a vase: specific, vibrant, made to be looked at from multiple angles. Tiny flower clusters fill the spaces between wings the way painted negative space defines a vessel's surface. Each butterfly is outlined in fine gold, catching light the way gilded porcelain does.
