Ingredient properties: PURE Psyllium contains only the active ingredient: the husk of the psyllium seed, not the whole seed. This husk has the property of absorbing a great deal of moisture. This softens and bulks up the intestinal contents, improving intestinal transit. This helps prevent constipation and improves intestinal peristalsis. Psyllium husk can bind toxins and heavy metals, thus supporting the body's detoxification mechanism. PURE Psyllium is administered with plenty of water for loose stools and with little water for constipation.

Promotes internal cleansing; good for intestinal peristalsis.

Dosage and application:

Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise.

The optimal dosage is 1 - 2 x daily:

• Dog > 25 kg 1.5 scoop
• Dog 10-25 kg 1 scoop
• Dog < 10 kg and cat 0.5 scoop

1 scoop contains approximately 2 grams.

If administering this product multiple times a day is difficult in practice, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dose. This product is still effective, but the response may take a little longer.

Administration
Can be mixed with food; moisten the food to prevent it from being blown out of the bowl. For loose stools, give PURE Psyllium with a little water. To soften stools, give it with plenty of water.

Advice for use
Provide good quality food and a constant supply of fresh drinking water.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the treatment duration is relatively short, ranging from 1 to 3 days. Continue administering this product for a few more days if there is improvement.

In case of prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 days. If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor your animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the recommended dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.

This product can be given permanently.

Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product in a dry place at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and box.

Synergy and combinations with other products

Contraindications
