This safer by design "full radius" edge feature is not possible using competitors' production cutting methods of conventional machining, die-cutting, laser or water jet process.

Pre-Drilled Base Option:

Why struggle? For less than the cost of a burger, you can get the bolt pattern drilled and positioned correctly for a simple installation.

Our convenient pre-drilled base is compatible with the popular quick release 4-bolt steering hubs: Pro-werks, Mark Williams or Strange.

This bolt pattern measures .750" x 1.650" with 3/16" diameter holes.
The mounting flange area is 1.375" x 2.312"

Why use a Butterfly Steering Wheel?

Primarily used in drag racing and other high-performance vehicles, a Butterfly type Steering Wheel has several advantages; due to its unique design, the separated butterfly-like arms provide maximum steering control with minimal hand movement.

With the drivers hands positioned at the 9 & 3 o'clock position, it allows for freedom of arm movement resulting in more control thru quick adjustments in situations where fast reaction is crucial.

Also by eliminating a full circle ring of a round steering wheel; that is not necessary, the Butterfly Wheel design also saves both weight and valuable space in a tight cockpit.

The button mount may be outfitted with switches, buttons, control valves and indicator lights. If you are using the popular Biondo Double-O button switch, you'll be pleased that we've designed this assembly to hide the bulky switch portion out of sight.

Button holes are positioned in optimal locations for driver accessibility and lightening fast reaction speed. The face plate edge has a full radius to eliminate sharp corners that could injure hands; a safety design feature carried over from with the Pro-werks Butterfly Steering Wheel.

Available with 5/8" diameter holes, or no holes in the Top and Face Plate, enabling you to outfit as needed for your vehicle. Both the face plate and the top have adequate surface area for logos, labeling of functions or custom painted details if desired.

In a true "fighter jet" fashion, we've exercised extensive weight reduction on the back of the face plate and bottom side of the top. The final result tips the scale under 6.5 ounces - a very lightweight and attractive billet aluminum unit.
