Gary Player captured 18 major titles including 9 on the Senior Tour, three Masters Tournaments, three British Opens, two PGA Championships and one U.S. Open. He is one of only four players to win all four major championships for the Grand Slam, joining the elite group of Gene Sarazen Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus. Gary was inducted into the world golf hall of fame in 1974, and was inducted into the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews in 1994.
