This Izzy the Ibis brooch from the Australiana collection celebrates one of Australia's scrappiest icons. This limited-run wearable art design gives a nod to the infamous 'bin chicken' - loved by some, loved less by others, but undeniably part of the Aussie landscape.

DESIGN STORY

Izzy the Ibis struts with pride, scavenging snacks with her long, curved beak—turning every park (or bin) visit into a five-star buffet adventure!

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. If you have any specific design questions, please email the team at [email protected].
