The pickups in this guitar are "Blues Specials" wound by Lindy Fralin in the United States. These guitars sound as if one took the crispy warmth of a National Steel Guitar and mixed it with the long sustain of a great Tele. They do not sound brittle at all; actually quite the contrary.
