What a face! No way could I not bring him home; someone, or someones, loved him so much! Photos don't convey his scale--he's a full 24 inches when stood up--with jointed arms and legs, and quite solid and hefty, being snuggly stuffed with straw. One ear has been mended a few times over I think, and at some point someone sewed tan corduroy over his feet and one side of his hands, surely as reinforcement, but now making him feel all the more like Corduroy from this children's book. Found in Maine, early 20th century, sewn of mohair fabric which is obviously quite well worn but with all of the seams still holding tight, and with wonderfully wonky button eyes. 

 24" x 10 1/4" w. Odor free, sound and stable and not at all fragile.
