“ 'Kitchen Sink' is a collage of painted papers depicting a corner of Francesca’s old apartment. Sunlight of the late afternoon had jetted across the room and cast its warm light across the freshly washed jars and water glasses. The papercutouts fit next to each other and atop - creating the tightened descriptive moments and then loose / less distinct areas. This composition uses light and shadow to describe its scene.  

This piece is made with painted papers collaged atop a primed paper, giving Francesca the ability to use paint and collage simultaneously."
