Dedicated to all the brave Iranian heroes who have lost their lives for freedom, and to everyone worldwide who stands for resilience, freedom and human dignity.

This piece is a deeply personal exploration of my grief. In traditional Persian storytelling and the epic Shahnameh, a warrior's horse was considered a true part of their spirit and journey representing strength, loyalty, freedom and the collective grief of a people.

The Mythical Steeds Behind the Design

• Rakhsh: The legendary steed of the hero Rostam. Highly intelligent and fiercely protective, Rakhsh was strong enough to fight off lions and dragons on his own to protect his rider.

• Shabrang: The magnificent midnight black horse of prince Siavash.  symbolizing both heroic strength and deep resilience through tragedy.
