It mounts cleanly to the lathe and maintains the same alignment and stability as the factory bed. This extension is useful for longer spindles, table legs, and projects that need additional room.

The extension can mount in several positions: level with the bed on the headstock or tailstock side for added spindle length, low on the leg for outboard turning of large-diameter pieces, or perpendicular to the headstock for improved access. A cast-iron riser block and tool-rest extender are included to support proper height when using outboard setups.
