The layered transparency of soft pastels was the inspiration behind Bridge by Danish artist Berit Mogensen Lopez. The simple, flowing composition is constructed from a mix of deep blue, muted green and off-white – a single gesture of pale lavender separating each element as it glides overhead. The simple and subtle composition is brought to life by the unique texture of the soft pastels, providing a piece with depth and character.
