G2 improves the challenge of throttle response and reduces throttle (revs). G2 Solution: Use the quick turn throttle tube. Using a quick throttle tube, the G2's tube is sharp and smooth and the Duracon insert (coupled to a throttle cam or "pulley") creates about 10% more material. This requires less than a unit of approximately 10 degrees to reach the "twist" wide open. From this perspective, the change in 3 and 10% is significant because the increase in size of the throttle cam can improve your riding in a number of ways. First, your bike's power characteristics will seem to react a lot - as the throttle turns one revolution, your bike revs down. Then the overall rotation decreases and reaches full throttle. This is a huge advantage as it allows for limited movement of the rider on the wrists. Additionally, the elbows are less likely to drop the throttle when cranking, making it easier to maintain proper position while riding.
