The Trumpeter 1/200 RMS Titanic and Olympic kits, do not have stern plates because of the limitations associated with slide mold technology. This leaves the stern end of the ship, surprisingly bare. This kit is meant for modelers who wish to accurately duplicate the missing detail but are not comfortable working with large photo etched brass plates.

The provided plates are cut on a sheet of styrene that is 0.25mm thick. They will glue into place with regular modelers glue, of your choice. Although, you may find that using a thicker glue works better for some plates. All of the required plates are provided, along with several optional plates. Plenty of extra styrene is provided in the middle of the sheet, should you need to duplicate a plate or more.
