The band's second album, "Ants From Up there", released in 2022, reached No. 3 in the UK and was listed in the top 10 of the best chart of the year by many media outlets. At Fuji Rock in 2022, their first visit to Japan, the band took the bold stance of "building an all-new setlist," and their overwhelming performance and emotional vocals caused the audience to burst into tears and even trended on social media. The band has released their latest album, "Live at Bush Hall," which includes nine new songs from their sold-out show in London.Frontman Isaac Wood left the band a few days before the release of their last album, "Ants From Up There," and BC,NR has been renamed to BC,NR with the remaining members Lewis Evans (sax/vocals), Mae Kershaw (keyboards/vocals), Georgia Ellery (violin/vocals), Luke Mark (guitar/vocals), Tyler Hyde (bass/vocals), and Charlie Wayne (drums/vocals). In a short time, they have performed their songs at major festivals around the world, including Primavera, Green Man, and Fuji Rock, and their new performances have received praise from Rolling Stone, The Guardian, the New York Times, and various other media, and they won the AIM Independent Music Awards last year. The band was nominated for "Best Live Performer" at last year's AIM Independent Music Awards.The LP will also be released with a Japanese obi (with bilingual lyrics and commentary).
