Aquatic Experts KloudAway contains active ingredients that work as a coagulating agent that targets unsightly particles in water such as uneaten fish food, dust, and other debris to produce crystal clear water. Microparticles clump together to make it easier for mechanical filters to catch.

It is important to diagnose your aquariums before treating. While KloudAway is non-toxic it will NOT help free-floating algae, tannins, or new tank syndrome.

Do NOT treat aquarium with KloudAway after the lights go off. Use 1 capful (5ml) of KloudAway solution per 10 gallons of aquarium water. Leave filter and aeration systems ON. Allow at least 12 hours for the flocculation process to complete. If necessary, aquarium may be re-treated after 24 hours.

Take a clear glass, scoop up some aquarium water and hold the glass against a white sheet of paper to determine what color the water is. See chart above to compare results.

Do I need to agitate the top surface area of my aquarium water while treating?

Yes. The gas exchange occurs at the top 1/16 inch of the water’s surface, which means that your filter or air bubbles must agitate this layer to allow carbon dioxide to escape and fresh oxygen to enter the water.

Yes. You must have a mechanical filter pad such as FilterFirst to trap floating particles, to remove them from the water.
