The newest work by the terrific quartet, which always tries new approaches, is Brazil! From France! The Quartet's borderless South American project with Stacey Kent and Bernard Lavillier on vocals. The French string quartet Ebène SQ, described by the New York Times as "a string quartet that can transform itself into a jazz band at will," will be joined by jazz vocalist Stacey Kent and the brilliant French vocalist This new album welcomes the jazz vocalist Stacey Kent and the French prodigy Bernard Lavillier. While active as a classical string quartet, Ebène SQ is also known for its crossover activities, as described above, and has already covered a wide range of film music from Chaplin to Disney, from musicals to action, including the opening song (Misaloux) for the movie "Pulp Fiction" in 2010.
