The Triconex AO3481 is a fiber-optic remote extender module that provides a redundant communication path between Triconex chassis. It uses a single fiber-optic cable to connect two chassis, and can be used to extend the distance between chassis up to 10 km. The AO3481 is a hot-swappable module, so it can be replaced without interrupting system operation.
