What It Is

GlueDevil Contact Adhesive is a general-purpose contact adhesive formulated as a solvent-based polychloroprene/resin adhesive. It's designed to bond two surfaces without clamping, creating a strong permanent joint once fully cured.

Key Features

• Strong bond without clamping: Applies to both surfaces, allowed to dry tacky, and then joined for a permanent bond.

• Heat & water resistant: Works well up to ~80°C and offers some moisture resistance.

• Brushable formula: Easy to spread evenly over surfaces.

• Full strength in ~24 hours: Maximum bond strength develops over time.

• Coverage: Typically ~2-3 square meters per litre, depending on substrate texture. 

Typical Uses

Glue Devil Contact Adhesive is good for bonding a wide variety of materials, including:

• Rubber, leather, felt, canvas

• Carpet tiles, linoleum, cork

• Wood, hardboard, laminates

• Metal, ceramics
  It's not suitable for some plastics like polythene, polypropylene, and polystyrene, and isn't ideal for items that will hold very hot liquids. 

Safety & Handling

• Flammable: Contains hydrocarbon solvents; use in well-ventilated areas away from flames.

• Irritant: Can irritate eyes and skin; avoid prolonged contact.

• Always follow label and safety data sheet instructions.
