Description:

The fiercely rhythmic and mesmerizing chamber orchestra Delirium Musicum, led by violinist Etienne Gala, presents its debut album for Warner, featuring works by Max Richter and Philip Glass. Influenced by the bustling art mosaic of Los Angeles, Los Angeles-based violinist Etienne Gala and the Delirium Musicum, a group of 21 musicians from nine countries on three continents, apply dazzling creativity and boundless excitement to their performances, which are becoming increasingly popular with a wider audience. their performances are becoming increasingly well-known to a wider and wider audience. The artistic excellence and leadership of their younger generation of musicians allows the small size of this ensemble to intimately connect and engage with listeners through dedicated performances that inspire intense excitement and ecstasy. The spontaneity that results from this approach and the juxtaposition of music from all eras creates a meaningful human experience. The creative and candid interpretations of the old masters and collaborations with contemporary composers bring a unique voice to the group, creating a dialogue about new ways to explore music that is relevant to life, regardless of time period, from baroque to contemporary music. This first album, Seasons, features a fascinating work, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, recomposed by Max Richter. And the second half of the album features Philip Glass's Violin Concerto No. 2, "Four Seasons in America". Etienne Gala says of the album, "In a world where climate change is at the center of our concerns, these eight delightfully unsettling seasons are scattered throughout a wildly singular time. It casts an artistic blur on things that have been taken for granted and considered unassailable, such as established climatic seasons, perceptions of time and space, and Vivaldi's four seasons,' he said. The music has been described as 'fiercely rhythmic and mesmerizing' (San Francisco Classical Voice). The digitally-distributed version is spatial audio-enabled, and driven by this spirit to push the boundaries of comfort and explore new avenues of art, a special environment was created for this recording to take advantage of the wonderful benefits of Dolby Atmos and choreograph the musicians to the musical language of the score. This subtle setting with the microphones opens the door to magical colors and provides the listener with a unique and immersive experience, much like we feel on stage. Warner Music Japan
