Now, however, a 2-CD collection focusing on the work of Dennis "Blackbeard" Bovell has appeared, a collection of his best-known songs as a musician and producer from the 1970s to the present day. DISC 1 of the 2-CD set spotlights Dennis Bowell as a musician and performer.DISC2 is a collection of his work, including Errol Campbell and Marie Pierre, as well as Janet Kay's "Silly Games," which would go on to establish the genre of "lovers' rock. The songs were selected by Dennis himself. The songs were selected by Dennis himself and feature rare and previously unreleased material including 7" mixes and 12" mixes. The booklet also contains many rare photos, making this a valuable collection that traces the path of the originator of UK dub and lovers' rock.
