Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is voluminous, with aromas of gooseberry, citrus, nettle and jalapeno. Medium-light bodied, aromas of lime, grapefruit and gooseberry melded with nettle, subtle jalapeno spice and minerals. The wine is crisp, vibrant and fine-textured. Invigorating acidity flushes through the palate and lends a taut, appetizing finish. Match with raw shellfish and fish & chips over the next 2-3 years.
