Details: Jon has won a turkey in a raffle and decides to cook it for dinner. Liz is coming over. The only problem is that when the turkey arrives, it's alive and kicking, and nobody wants to deal with it. Especially since it’s kinda nice to have another pet, a feathered one this time. But when the turkey starts taking naps in Garfield's bed, watching TV and eating out of his bowl, Garfield loses it. He sends the turkey over to the poultry store. They've had enough of it at home! Abandoned to its terrible fate, the turkey almost ends up getting stuffed, but then Garfield regrets what he’s done and decides to fix it. Jon said there'd be turkey for dinner, and there will be: just as a guest rather than the main dish. / Jon a gagné une dinde à la loterie, et décide de la préparer pour le dîner de ce soir où Liz est invitée. Seul problème, la dinde livrée est bien vivante, et nul ne veut lui faire son affaire. Surtout que ça n’est pas si désagréable d’avoir un troisième animal de compagnie, à plume cette fois-ci. Mais quand la dinde dort dans lit de Garfield, regarde sa télé et mange dans sa gamelle, Garfield s’énerve. Direction le marchand de volailles! On ne veut plus d’elle à la maison. Abandonnée à son triste sort, la dinde pourrait rapidement finir farcie avec des marrons, sauf quand Garfield qui regrette son geste décide de passer à l’action. Jon a dit qu’il y aurait de la dinde à dîner et dinde il y aura, mais en tant qu’invitée et non en tant que plat.
